Good Wednesday afternoon everyone and welcome to yet another edition of World Wednesday! This time we are traveling to an area located just southwest of Mexico City!

This home consists of 9 colored concrete boxes that was first dreamed up by architect Fernanda Canales and Claudia Rodríguez. The homes sits on a property roughly about 6,500 square feet and serves as a vacation home for a young family.

This residence is located about 100 miles southwest of Mexico City. The architecture was meant to stand out in the midst of the dense forest surrounding the property.

The climate in the Mexico City area is largely subtropical which means it is usually mild or pleasantly warm during the day and at night is usually pretty cool out. The temperature range also varies by quite a bit in the dry season.
